EscoPay ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the EscoPay mobile application and related services.
We collect only the information necessary to provide our services:
Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Your crypto wallet private keys are encrypted on your device using AES-256 encryption and are never transmitted to our servers. We employ industry-standard security practices including biometric authentication, OTP verification, and role-based access controls for our internal systems.
EscoPay's crypto wallet is self-custodial. Your seed phrase and private keys are generated on your device and are never stored on our servers. EscoPay cannot access, recover, or transfer your crypto assets. You are solely responsible for securing your seed phrase. EscoPay will never ask you to share your seed phrase.
Fiat wallet transactions are processed through PawaPay, a regulated mobile money aggregator. Your mobile money credentials are never stored by EscoPay. Transaction data is shared with PawaPay only to the extent necessary to process your requested transaction.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only with:

We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years thereafter, as required by financial regulations. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us, subject to regulatory retention requirements.
